Yes — with automatic release, a paid feature. By default a person you name confirms first; the paid plan lets you switch to automatic, so if you stay silent through your grace window your plan sends on its own, no one verifies. It's the right call when getting the information out matters more than a second pair of eyes (journalists, activists). The trade-off: a missed check-in will send it, so make your check-in reliable.
In human-confirmed mode (the default), someone who'd realistically know if you were unreachable and you'd trust with the decision — a partner, spouse, lawyer, or close colleague. They only ever confirm; they never get your passwords. In automatic mode you don't name one at all.
